KERAMIDA permitted a new Greenfield Battery Separator Membrane manufacturing facility in Indiana. The Client is an international corporation headquartered in the United States. It was anticipated that the facility would be permitted as a Title V source for air emissions.

KERAMIDA provided permitting and compliance support for a new Greenfield Lithium Battery Electrolyte manufacturing facility in Indiana. The Client is an international corporation headquartered in South Korea. It was anticipated that the facility would be permitted as a Federally Enforceable State Operating Permit (FESOP) from the perspective of air emissions.

KERAMIDA provides environmental inspection and compliance monitoring services for the construction of gas and electric lines facilities for this Power Industry client in seven states (IN, OH, KY, PA, MD, VA, MA).

KERAMIDA contracted with Indianapolis Power & Light to perform wastewater certification for the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) for a large coal-fired power plant in Petersburg, Indiana.

KERAMIDA directed a half-million dollar, multi-year monitoring and assessment study of White River, Indiana, to evaluate the impact of discharges from two POTWs and metropolitan non-point sources on the river's quality.

KERAMIDA was retained by a municipality in Indiana to determine the causes of violations of effluent limitations in its NPDES Permit.

The site was developed in 1902-1903 as the Champion Iron Company, a former foundry and structural iron works facility. KERAMIDA completed the Phase I, Phase II investigation, and asbestos survey for the property and oversaw the site decommissioning and demolition.

KERAMIDA serves as a third-party environmental inspector for this Client’s solar electric power plant development projects throughout eastern Virginia. The Client is a major Solar Provider that provides solar energy systems and installations for utility, government, and commercial purposes.

KERAMIDA has provided site investigation, remediation, groundwater sampling and analysis, operation & maintenance, and reuse planning for the TSL Superfund Site.

KERAMIDA was retained by Algaewheel to assist in gaining regulatory approval for Algaewheel’s patented process of treating wastewater with algae for accomplishing two important goals: Treat wastewater with significantly less energy requirements than current technologies, offering significant cost reduction and CO2 credit opportunities; and generate biofuels from the algae generated.

KERAMIDA completed a VAP Phase I and Phase II for the former Kirby Tire property in Sycamore, Ohio. Surface and subsurface soil samples were collected and groundwater samples were collected from a total of 13 shallow monitoring wells and two bedrock aquifer monitoring wells across the Site.

KERAMIDA completed a VAP Phase II Assessment of the former Hexion Specialty Chemicals facility in Ohio. To evaluate potential contaminants of concern, a push-probe investigation was performed across the Property and a hollow-stem auger rig was used to install VAP-compliant monitoring wells in strategic locations.
