GHG Verification for CDP & GRESB Disclosures for Shopping Center Owner/Operator

KERAMIDA provided third-party verification services for the third-largest owner and operator of shopping centers in the United States with over $9 billion in assets. KERAMIDA provided limited assurance greenhouse gas (GHG) verification of the Client’s 2022 Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions inventory.
Scope 3 sources included in this verification scope were:
category 5 (waste)
category 6 (business travel)
category 7 (employee commuting)
category 13 (downstream leased assets)
KERAMIDA also verified energy usage, renewable energy usage, water, and waste using the Client’s data management software. Verification was conducted in accordance with ISO 14064-3 using an operational control approach. The verification statement was issued for both CDP and GRESB disclosure requirements.
