Meet John Young! Since joining KERAMIDA in 2016, John Young, Senior Project Manager in the Land Division, has been a key player in environmental compliance and site assessments. His expertise includes ecological assessments, Phase I & II ESA reports, asbestos and lead inspections, groundwater and soil sampling, stormwater inspections, and waste management oversight. John is certified by the US Corps of Engineers for wetland delineations and is a NEPA-trained professional and state-licensed asbestos and lead inspector.
In addition to consulting, John has a background in environmental journalism, research, and grant administration. He holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Biology and English from the College of Charleston and an M.S. in Plant, Environmental, and Soil Science from LSU.
