Mr. Harrington is Senior Vice President of Land Services at KERAMIDA Inc. His responsibilities include the management of Land Services staff including engineers, geologists, scientists, and field technicians; project staffing and deadlines; and the overall profitability of the division. He is responsible for implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for all sampling processes.  Mr. Harrington also serves as Senior Project Manager on complex investigation, remediation and due diligence projects. He is a team leader in KERAMIDA’s operations working in partnership with clients to deliver exceptional and sustainable outcomes through the application of design, consultancy, engineering, and project management services. 

Since joining KERAMIDA in 1993, Mr. Harrington has managed and performed field activities in hundreds of projects involving hazardous waste removals, site investigations, remediation, vapor intrusion investigation and mitigation, UST management, asbestos and lead inspections, asbestos abatement oversight, site assessments, and industrial air inspections. In addition, he has directed and managed extensive field sampling activities for stormwater sampling, river sampling, air sampling (ambient and indoor), and waste sampling. 

Mr. Harrington’s major projects have included the assessment, investigation, and remediation of sites with a variety of contaminants including petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, coal tar, and hexavalent chromium. These projects have involved contamination in all media (soil, groundwater, and vapor) for a variety of clients including utilities, heavy manufacturing, wood treatment, dry cleaners, service stations, and pharmaceutical facilities. Remedial strategies implemented and managed by Mr. Harrington include conventional techniques including excavation and off-site disposal, innovative closure strategies such as enhanced reductive dechlorination (ERD), and risk-based cleanups involving prevention exposure barriers. 

Mr. Harrington works closely with his clients to meet their unique environmental needs and to form long term working relationships by assisting them in achieving compliance with regulations influencing their operations. B.S. – Environmental Health and Sciences, Indiana State University, 1992
